my grandma visited me today and brought my birthday present Q A Q (even though there’s still a week to my 18th birthday like omg >___<)

the present was my grand-grandfathers old pocket watch I found on her houses attic which was pretty much fucket up and destroyed because it’s probably 100 years old (from before the 2nd ww)

she took it to a clockmaker because she noticed how much I adored it <3<3

aw I love how soundly it tick tocks (like you can hear it from all over the room!!!)

also it has a little pendant (which you can see) with a little 4 leaved clover. it says “viel glück” which means good luck t u t aw I love simple things like these
